Mr. John Howard Burbank, III serves as the Founder, Chief Investment Officer and Portfolio Manager at Passport Capital, LLC.

Prior to founding Passport Capital in August 2000 he served as an Equity Analyst and Consultant at JMG Triton Offshore and held various investment research positions with Bay Area hedge funds.

Burbank received his MBA from the Stanford Graduate School of Business and earned his BA in English Literature from Duke University.
